Jessica Ray, MBA

Position: Executive Director

Jessica Ray joined the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation as Executive Director in November 2024. For the past 7 years Jessica has worked as a clinic leader in a privately owned pediatric primary care clinic, as well as multispecialty and primary care clinics for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Prior to clinic leadership, Jessica’s experience into healthcare began at CPF where she worked as a Program Manager for two years, managing the physician buying group, assisting with networking events and working to engage new members to the Foundation. Prior to moving to Nashville in 2015, Jessica spent 9 years in various leadership roles with-in higher education at a private, not for profit University. Jessica received her Master of Business Administration from Carson Newman University and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tennessee Wesleyan University. Jessica has a passion for the mission of CPF and a deep understanding of the benefits the Foundation provides to members and partners across the State of Tennessee. In this role, she is responsible for forging new partnerships, expanding opportunities and serving as a representative for the pediatric community. She oversees all the Foundation programs, partners, staff and members to ensure financial and operational efficiency and success. Her leadership and experience in practice operations is helping the Foundation improve patient practice relations and expand member programs and benefits, particularly around the current grant initiatives to increase access to care in rural or underserved areas. Jessica is thrilled to serve the member practices and providers through the Foundations programs, education and grant work. She has a heart for non-profit work and was raised in a medical family, which gives her a deep understanding of the direct impact providers and medical homes have on patients. As an East Tennessee native and avid sports fan, Jessica enjoys cheering for the Tennessee VOLS, Atlanta Braves and other Tennessee affiliated sports teams, as well as trying out new Nashville area restaurants. Additionally, she loves creating new memories with her husband, Jeremy and two small children.
