CPF is thrilled to announce the
Inaugural CPF Provider Education Conference
& Practice Workshop
On February 28, 2026 from 8:00 am-3:00 pm at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, we will host a CME conference that will provide up to 6 hours of CME credit. The goal of the conference is to provide up-to-date information about common pediatric issues, allowing for questions, discussion and opportunities to connect with colleagues from around the state.Some of our speakers include:
- Buddy Creech, MD, MPH (Infectious Diseases) will provide an update on new vaccines, new advances in diagnostics and updates to current outbreaks
- Allison Norton, MD (Allergy) will discuss antibiotic allergy delabeling
- Julia Anderson, MD and Sara Francis, PhD (Gastroenterology) will share their approach to caring for children with functional abdominal pain
- John Thomas, MD (Urology) will discuss the diagnosis and management of urinary reflux
Lunch will be provided and small group sessions will be available for topics such as:
- Optimizing personal finance
- How to improve billing and coding
- Successful strategies to integrate work and family
Afternoon sessions will include training in:
- Sports medicine (including concussion management and a splinting/suturing skills lab)
- Mental health disorders, led by colleagues at Centerstone

All are invited to attend, and registration is open until the day of the event ($50, CPF members; $100, non-members). As a special gift to our CPF members, discounted early bird registration is available until December 21, 2025 ($25).

Please note, this year Administrators and Managers who are attending the Day 2 Saturday Workshop, may also attend the annual dinner.
- Day 2 – Provider Registration (CME & Workshops) cost = $50.00 (Register early to obtain a $25.00 discount!)
- Day 2 – Administrator/Manager Registration (Workshops) cost = $25.00
