
Dr. Michael Levin, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
This talk will cover pharmacogenomic testing, reviewing the principles of pharmacology related to psychiatric medication management. Dr. Levin will cover how to use these principles to interpret test results and appraise the evidence for how pharmacogenomic-guided prescribing may change patient outcomes. He will wrap-up with an explanation of how a primary care pediatrician might incorporate this testing into their practice.
