Dr. Orsagh-Yentis is an assistant professor of pediatrics, pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition with the Department of Pediatrics at VUMC. With constipation being one of the most frequent concerns in pediatric care, Dr. Orsagh-Yentis will focus on equipping physicians with a practical framework for evaluation and treatment. Her session will review current diagnostic criteria and highlight red flag symptoms, outline key aspects of physiology and pathophysiology, and walk through effective management strategies — from behavioral approaches to medication and newer therapies. Participants will leave with updated knowledge to better support children with constipation across both primary and specialty care settings.
