Molly Hood, M.D.

Position: PAST PRESIDENT

A graduate of Brentwood High School, Dr. Hood returned home after completing her medical training at the University of Tennessee and finishing a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency in Memphis. She served as Pediatric Chief Resident from 2003-2004 at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and practiced pediatrics in Memphis for 2004-2005.

Dr. Hood joined Pediatric Associates of Franklin in August of 2005.Dr. Hood is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Cumberland Pediatric foundation and served on the board of GiGi’s Playhouse Nashville Down Syndrome Achievement Center from 2014-2016.  In 2013 Dr. Hood received the Physician of the Year awarded by the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee and in 2014 she received the Top Doctor award in Nashville by Nashville Lifestyle Magazine.
