Front Desk / Patient Check-In Desk Coordinator:  Full-time and Part-time/Flexible Scheduled positions available.  This candidate must have previous experience working in the medical field.  A full understanding and knowledge of the importance of the check-in/out role.  Position will require excellent customer service skills with an attitude of going-the-extra-mile.  The ideal candidate will be compassionate but acknowledge the business requirements of a practice.  Skills should include but not limited to:

a.   Insurance plan knowledge:  verification of benefits, plan specifics, TennCare requirements.

b.   Ability to collect money due from patients

c.    End of day cash-drawer balancing

d.   Understanding of basic CPT Coding requirements:  New vs. Established patient

e.   Appointment scheduling skills

f.     Ability to multitask with high-level details and follow-through.

g.   Be the “Face of the Practice”
